We offer complementary carer pass for anyone eligible for assistance. Carer passes are only valid when accompanied by a full paying ticket-holder. Please complete the form below to apply for personal assistance at our event.
Please do not purchase a ticket for your carer if you intend to apply for a carers pass. We are unable to refund any purchases made, even if a carer application is later approved.
Please upload a proof of disability. The following proofs are accepted · A letter/notice of entitlement for PIP/DLA carer’s allowance stating enhanced rate mobility / daily living allowance; · A letter from your doctor confirming a carer required for the applicant · D/Deaf, or Blind Registration - Access Card with the Essential Companions symbol We only accept proof of carer - items like blue badge, disabled persons freedom pass etc provide proof of disability / need, they do not provide proof of carer. Please ensure that if you wish to request a carer pass that the uploaded proof also covers the requirement for a carer.
If you require someone to come along and assist you while at our events, we offer one carer pass per each paying disabled visitor. This must be booked through our online system. Carers must be attending to provide assistance to the visitor and proof of entitlement will be required. Once you have registered and been approved for your carer pass you will receive a ticket. You must bring this ticket with you to the event along with proof of ID in order for the ticket to be validated.
Megacon's usual privacy policy applies to data entered in this form. As we are aware that the information uploaded many contain potentially sensitive information successful application documents will only held for 2 weeks after approval. Declined applications will be held until after the event date to allow for review if requested. All documents will be deleted within 6 weeks after event date.
