CREATOR PASSES AT MEGACON LIVE
Creator Passes are complimentary tickets offered to creators with a genuine, engaged audience and consistent content, given as part of a mutual exchange - you receive a pass, and in return, share your experience with your community!
If you’re mainly looking to attend, not create content, and just enjoy the event (which we totally get - our shows are a lot of fun), we recommend purchasing a ticket instead. Creator Passes are limited, and we want to make sure they go to creators who are actively helping to showcase what MegaCon Live is all about.
We’re proud of our roots in creator-led events, but these passes aren’t awarded on follower count alone. They’re about active creators, community engagement, and using your unique voice to help celebrate the event.
We don’t have strict criteria for acceptance, but due to the increasing number of applications, we’ve introduced a minimum requirement to apply: a combined following of at least 2,200 across up to two platforms (e.g. Instagram 1,100 + TikTok 1,100). This isn’t a guaranteed threshold for approval - it’s simply to help save your time (and ours) if you're below that level.
📢 Expectations & Requirements
By applying for a Creator Pass, you agree to create and share content from within the event hall that captures your experience at MegaCon Live - whether that’s cosplay, panels, meet-ups, shopping, gaming, creator zones, or anything else from your day.
To apply, you must meet the minimum follower count (2,200 combined across up to two platforms) and agree to the following posting expectations:
- 1x Advance Story Update (letting your audience know you're attending)
- 1x Feed Post on your main platform (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and 2x Story/Text-Based Updates (e.g. Instagram Story, TikTok Story, Threads, X, Bluesky) - all to be posted from the event or within 30 days after
Please tag @megaconlive and use #MegaConLive, and include appropriate disclosure for gifted access.
You also note that meeting the minimum follower requirements does not guarantee a pass. All applications are reviewed based on a variety of factors including content quality, engagement, posting consistency, audience quality and availability.
